MINUTECUB MUSTER 2018

Signups have commenced for the June 24th, 2018 Minutecub Muster. The MinuteCub Muster is anticipates over 1000 Cub Scouts, families and siblings and over 200 re-enactors. Reservations are secured by payment.
The registration price is $50 per Minutecub which includes a Patch, T-shirt and access to all the events. There is no fee for leaders, camp followers or siblings. The Muster Store will offer T-shirts for $10 each, patches for $5.00 each, muskets for $20.00 each and tricorn hats for $15 each. This is a family event. Saturday evening camping is available at the Mayflower Council Nobscot Scout Reservation in Sudbury.
The MINUTECUB MUSTER is June 24th, 2018 at the Wayside Inn, Sudbury, MA.
Checkin is 8AM to 9:00 AM --- and then the day starts.

Cub Scout Packs are responsible for their own lunches -- and we keep the area clean.
Family Camping is available on Saturday evening at the Know Trail Council Nobscot Scout Reservation in Sudbury, MA. The cost is $40 per Pack.
Make sure you bring cameras and little ones. This is a family event.
Event 1: Dragoon Demonstration: the use of the horse in scouting and message.
Event 2: Cannon Park: They make noise, they smell, they are heavy.
Event 3: Tomahawks: It is harder than it looks -- and be safe.
Event 4: Vittles: If they ate this food, how did we win?
Event 5: Marching: "I wish the guy nest to me would keep step"
Event 6: American Encampment with gunsmith, candle maker, soap maker and other crafts needed to keep the troops moving.
Event 7: Colonial Village with tin monger, blacksmith, joiner, miller, spinner and many other trades.
Event 8: Obstacle Course with a tour of the grist mill and a hewing display.
Event 9: A British encampment with a surgeon, coopers, cobblers, broom makers and other trades.
Event 10: Let's talk with George Washington, Ben Franklin and John Adams. And then, let's sign the Declaration of Independence.
The day is not complete without a battle re-enactment between the Americans and the British.
At the close of the day, we say the Pledge of Allegiance and then.....
